Goshen College Students Win Video Contest

Goshen College students Jared Zook and Elizabeth Derstine won top prize in a video contest from Everence. Part if the shared prize goes to Foods Resource Bank

Thousands of online voters selected Jared Zook’s video “I Am a Penny” as the winning production in the Everence Money Talks video contest.

Zook of Goshen, Ind. will receive a $1,000 cash prize for winning the contest

Norm Braksick Receives MI Rotary Award

Norm Braksick, shown in this photo from 2004, worked for 30 years at The Upjohn Co. and was president of the Asgrow Seed Co. before retiring in 1997. In late 1998, he agreed to help form the Foods Resource Bank, a nonprofit international organization involving faith, agriculture and world hunger.

The Portage Rotary Club honored retired corporate executive and ongoing volunteer services leader Norman Braksick with its 22nd Annual Community Service Award last Wednesday.
