Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday

After Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday... we finally come to Giving Tuesday. It's simple and easy to get your credit card or check book out and make a donation. Lots of good work gets done with the strength of many small donations.

At FRB, our success is built on relationships. On long term commitments. On passion. On this Giving Tuesday I challenge you to think creatively about ways to give back that share FRB with someone new, build a longer term commitment, and looks toward the future.

Here are a list of suggestions. Hopefully you can brainstorm many more.

  • Invite someone else to give.
  • Start an annual fundraising event.
  • Invite a neighboring church to pair up with yours in a fundraiser.
  • Start or join an agricultural growing project.
  • Give a donation as an alternative gift for the holidays.
  • Give through the Combined Federal Campaign, United Way, Thrivant, etc.
  • Host a small dinner party as a small fundraiser.
  • Ask your employer to match your donation.
  • Invite your youth group to sell cookies, cocoa, crafts etc.
  • Set up a monthly reoccurring donation.
  • Consider legacy giving options.

Thank you to everyone who helps to make FRB grow lasting solutions to hunger.

Happy, Joyful Giving!
