During a recent trip to Nicaragua, an FRB group met an amazing woman named Zaira. During the recent drought she carried two five gallon buckets up and down very, very steep hills.
She had to do that 20 times a day to keep her crops alive. In January, thanks to the work of the Nicaragua-Mateare Carazo program, she'll have water right next to her house. She is pretty excited.
