Summary:
Objectives:
- To improve food security and living standard through gains in unit area food crop yield.
- To implement double cropping and soil fertility by planting cover crops of spring barley and such vegetables as Napa cabbage and radishes for winter kimchi.
- To utilize hairy vetch or rye in the double cropping system along with introduction of small livestock.

The 2009-2010 program year was made possible with a special donation from PCUSA-PDA to the COB-GFCF member account.
